INTEGRITES – Pro Bono Legal Partner to EBA’s Industrial Ecology and Sustainable Development Committee

INTEGRITES has been selected to serve as Pro Bono Legal Partner to the Industrial Ecology and Sustainable Development Committee of the European Business Association. 

Established in 2020, the Committee brings together representatives of major domestic and international companies from the agricultural, energy, steel, cement, chemical, woodworking and processing industries of Ukraine. Among Committee’s priorities are the adaptation of the Ukrainian legislation to the European principles of the green course (in the field of waste management, CBAM, MIA, STV, etc.), relaxation of environmental regulations to reduce pressure on business, and improving local policies and business practices to aid access of the Ukrainian business to European funding for green transformation.

As a new Pro Bono Legal Partner, INTEGRITES will assist with analysis and development of statutes, including draft bills, and will contribute to preparation of the Committee’s official positions on relevant legal and regulatory initiatives. The firm will provide legal advice on specific legislative provisions, including their impact on the metallurgical, construction, and agricultural sectors, as well as assist with drafting Committee’s legislative proposals or amendments in support of its goals.
